I first met Mr. Karma Gyeltshen(CEO, Bhutan Mountain Holiday) in 2003, when he was on his further studies in tourism in Austria. He was the first Bhutanese who responded to my request for information about his country, as I was to be a 5 month volunteer at the National Hospital in Thimphu. Despite, my many questions, Karma’s answer were patient and detailed and very useful to me in preparation. I, then, met Karma, after he returned to Thimphu and found him in person, to be the same intelligent, patient and easy to talk too. Overall my trip was excellent because of good service by your company and staff. The itinerary was very good and mixed with major sightseeing and minor ones. I especially enjoyed the hike to Shukdra Monastery(Bumthang) very much and could sit there for a while which too was very nice because I personally do not like to mix with many people. So it is nice to visit places on my own pace. Again I was quite impressed by Gonkhar Guest House (Bumthang). The way of their service was excellent. I did not expect to have such good service level and I think that I learned some points from them personally. My trip was two weeks but I felt that I was in Bhutan for a short while ago. Thank you very much for the excellent service.
